MERIT News
1.
MERIT is conducting the IGNOU Term End Practical Examination for the December 2024 session from 15th January 2025 to 21st February 2025 in offline mode. Over 4,000 students are registered to participate during this period, making it one of the largest exam sessions at MERIT.

MERIT has been selected as a center for conducting the IGNOU BEd and BSc Nursing Entrance Exam on 16th February 2025.

Lohri was celebrated with enthusiasm on 13th January 2025 at MERIT. Students and staff actively participated in the festivities. Dr. Rattan Kumar Datta, Director of MERIT, shared the significance of Lohri, joined students in dancing, and added joy to the event. Ms. Meena Datta distributed traditional treats such as Gajak, popcorn, Rewari, and Tilkut to everyone.

On 16th January 2025, Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Information Technology (BCIIT) organized a Faculty Development Programme. Dr. Rattan Kumar Datta delivered an enlightening lecture on Artificial Intelligence and Weather Forecasting, discussing the applications of AI in improving meteorological predictions.

In December 2024, over 60 students appeared for TOEFL/GRE tests at MERIT.
